Here are the questions we are asked most often at Mendokoro Tsuruhan Namba CITY. For anything not covered here, please feel free to contact the restaurant.

Do you take reservations?

We do not take reservations. Please come directly to the restaurant. You may need to wait depending on how busy we are.

What are your opening hours?

We are open from 11:00 to 22:00 (last order 21:00), with no midday break. Hours may change in line with Namba CITY’s schedule.

Do you have regular closing days?

We follow Namba CITY’s closing days. Please contact the restaurant directly for the latest information.

Where are you located and how do I get there?

We are on the second basement floor of Namba CITY’s main building, directly connected to Nankai Namba Station and a short underground walk from Namba Station on the Midosuji subway line. You can reach us without getting wet, even in the rain.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, electronic money and QR code payments.

How much does a meal cost?

Around ¥1,000–¥1,999 per person. All listed prices include tax.

Can I come with children?

High chairs are available. We also offer Kids Udon (¥500 incl. tax) for younger guests.

Is smoking allowed?

The entire restaurant is non-smoking.

Do you have private rooms or accept private hire?

We do not have private rooms and do not accept private hire.

Is there parking?

You can use the Namba CITY parking facilities. Please check Namba CITY’s information for rates and validation conditions.

What do you recommend?

Our Shabu Beef Udon with Japanese Black wagyu sirloin and the Osaka specialties Kasu Udon and Wagyu Nikusui Udon are the most popular. We also serve tempura udon, rice bowls and set meals.

Can I add rice or toppings?

Steamed rice is ¥300 (incl. tax), and seasonal mixed rice, Kishu plum rice and chirimen sansho rice are ¥350 each (incl. tax). Toppings range from grated daikon (¥80 incl. tax) to an assorted tempura plate (¥1,200 incl. tax).
